OK, I have OPTED OUT, deleted old addresses(what ones I could) and sent the frst letter certfied mail, no return reciept...to all 3 CRA.....TU feb 14, EX and EQ feb 19.

I have recieved a reply from EX stating this has previously been disputed....and it is still on my report.

EQ sent me a copy of my entire credit report, which shows the medical as verified...and it is still in my report.

Nothing yet from TU.

Should I do anything else at this point??

Thank you

QUOTE(vickilee @ Mar 3 2008, 12:07 PM)

I am in the process of a medical dispute, using whychats hipaa process for an old medical bill. Send cert. letters 2 weeks ago.

Now, on my TC report, nothing shows up for EQ, except my personal info...name address etc. Also, on CCT all of my accounts are listed but for EQ they say ND(no data)

Is this because of the hipaa letter, and is this normal? Why does EX and TU show as usual, I sent letters to all 3 CRA??

Send the reporting CA's this:

http://whychat.5u.com/ltrcavalhipaa.html

Then send the special follow up dispute to the CRA's that is on the SAME page as the medical DV.

Thanks WhyChat,,,,,,,,will do that Monday morning.

I see that you saw my other post about my information all missing.........any idea why its not there? Does this have anything to do with the hipaa process.....I have no other disputes going on? When I pulled with myfico, information was all there.......still nothing for EQ on CCT or TC.

I am NOT a fan of 3rd party credit reporting/monitoring services. IMO they are all a bad choice especially for credit repair. I always suggest getting the individual reports and checking the results of your disputes ONLY through each CRA individually.

Why Chat

I am sorry, but I am all confused. I planned on doing this weeks ago, but couldn't figure out how and I felt a dumb coming back and asking, so I procrastinated.

Anyway, I really want to do this, but I have no idea where to find the information I need. I just spent 12.00 pulling myfico and there is no information there. No address or account number, not even the name of the collection agency.

Where do I obtain this info??

Also., I know the date of service was 9-03..so the debt is 5 years old........If I write to them, can they start trying to collect?? They do not know my address......at least I dont think they do since they have never called or written to me.

Thanks, Vicki

My Fico is a 3rdparty reporting agency, you need to get your individual reports directly from each CRA, it is FREE.

To order, visit annualcreditreport.com, or call 1-877-322-8228

In your prior posts you say you disputed and opted out etc. what credit reports did you use??

How did you get "verified" letters with copies of your reports if you didn't have the report ID #'s??

I don't understand your post, as you said in THIS post:

So is this all I need to do at this point,...send the letter to the collection agency?? Just one?? or do I need to send one for TU, EX and EQ??

If you have the same CA reporting on all 3 reports then you send them this ( 3 letters in one envelope):

http://whychat.5u.com/ltrcavalhipaa.html

This letter is being sent to you in response to your recent fraudulent verification of an unknown medical account on my (name of CRA) reportYou need to have the name of each CRA that they verified on each letter so that you can send the follow up dispute

And then send the 3 CRA's where they are reporting this:( as soon as you have the green card back)

http://whychat.5u.com/ltrcavalhipaa.html#DISPUTE

P.S. I notified the mods to delete the name and address of your CA from your earlier post.

Oh...OK! I didnt know about sending 3 letters, glad I asked! I will print out 2 more.

and sorry........I didnt know I should not post the name and address........I wont do that again.

Thanks for everything!
