Totally UNBELIEVABLE CA sends refund overpayment

Receivable Performance Managment out of Bellevue Washington,send me a Refund overpayment of a medical bill i paid.Then i noticed its dated 11-29-2006.Okay now is this a trick or what?So i decide to go cash this and noticed above the signature it says GOOD for 90 days.Well I just received this check on April 09,2007.

Now are they going to try and tell me that THEY couldnt find me or had the wrong address.My mail comes to a POB and the Po will NOT deliver anything unless it comes to the box.There was no sign that it was remailed.

What should i do, the check is only 17.07 but its monies they owe me.And its the principal of the matter!!

Is this a CA who is on your reports??

Be VERY CAREFUL about this check.

 

This MAY be a CA trick to get your checking account information and clean out your account.

 

They get the check back as uncollected because it is too old and they are out 0 $$ but they have all your current data, including your residence address and banking information.

Yes they are on my reports,they picked up OSI's cast offs from my hospital bills,this was paid in 2005.I saved the envelope and its postmarked 31 March 2007.I was going to just cash it at my bank not deposit but WTH sending me a check past dated.Could I send via BBB of Bellevue Wa and ask them to help or report them to AG and send a copy of the envelope and check.Regardless it was completely worthless the date it was postmarked and mailed!!Maybe small claims court just for grins and giggles.Was what they did even legal???

Get old addresses deleted, if possible

 

Send the CRA's where this is reporting the medical dispute letter.

File a complaint with the FTC on line and your State AG office against this CA for fraudulent collection activities. Make a copy of the check and of the postmarked envelope.

 

Even if you "cashed" it at your bank, the bank would put your account information on the check.

I had already paid the debt to RPM in March 2005.Are you sure I should report them to Wa Ag as Fraudulant Collection Activities?I have opted out but unfortunately its the only address on my CR.
