BoA & myeasypay.com - MBNA nonsense I guess...

I have had an acct w/BOA since April. Have always made payments online. I added a checking & savings accout to get the $125 that was posted recently. Now I can't make payments online from an outside institution. So, I figure it's a glitch. Nope....I'm told I now have to go to www.myeasypay.com - well, guess what??? The site's down. WTH am I supposed to do? Go to a branch I guess?

 

Fortunately, I don't have a payment due, I was just going to go ahead and make an extra payment.

that sucks. Why would adding a ckg/svg acct affect it? Did they give you a reason?

Sorry - guess that wasn't clear. It's just the new "system". You cannot make a payment from a different financial institution now unless you use myeasypay.com. That is for EVERYONE - not just because I added those accts.

yes you can. the my easy paysite does'nt work anymore..you ahve to have them de-link your checking at bofa. then you can go in and add a outside account.

These people make no sense. If the website doesn't work, why are they still directing people there? If I de-link my checking, will I have to have a 2nd username to access that? (2 logins - one for checking & savings and one for credit cards?)

I had this issue with a BOFA biz account. The fix was to log in to the account, click on customer service and then click on make a payment from an outside institution. I had to enter all of the information and I have to do that each time that I make a payment. I don't have any bank accounts with BOFA, just biz and personal cards.

Same here. I am about to do a BT from my BOA card and whip it out a couple times a year for 75 cent purchases.

Yes what a crock. I have a real problem with this-I believe it can cause people to be late-and what do u know-they'll make a lot more money. You now have to have the card #s and cid in front of you to pay. What a joke-ON US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
