Best time of year for car shopping?

I'm looking to buy a truck sometime in the next few months. No big hurry.

 

I've heard late Novemeber and December are the best times to buy new, but I'll probably buy used. Is the used market better in Nov., Dec. as well? Thanks!

Monday thru Saturday, a lot of the dealers are closed on Sunday.

depends on the make, when it comes to new. Usually the best time to buy new is right before the "next' model comes out. Used I dont think really matters.
