I don't feel to bad, i can probably be approved in a few months

heres why i was denied according to the letter from GE Money Bank:

box 2 checked.

"In evaluating your request, a credit scoring system was used......
............Nevertheless, the factor(s) where you did not score well compared with other consumers have been determined and these factor(s) were: "

# OPEN REVOLVING ACCTS W/ BALANCE 75%+ OF HIGH CREDIT LAST 3 MTHS

sad.gif

this leads me to believe that all i have to do is pay down accts and i will get approved, no???

but really the only card i maxed was the capone so i could get the the BIG $600 high credit biggrin.gif

oh yeah, and then there is the Best Buy card that is maxed out... OOPS! mellow.gif

I am so pleased to be informing you that you have won the lottery in the republic of Ass-wenistan. You won a great abundance and magnitude of money. All I need to transact this transaction is small processing fee to be required; Simply cash this check a portion of your winnings and pay the fee, then I will effect payment swiftly!

GEMB explanations are completely bogus most of the time.
Did you apply online or in the store?
The reason I ask is that I was denied the store card online and shortly after, I applied in the store and got 3000.00 on the spot. (with the same info on my report)

Give it 30-60 days and apply again, but in the store.
Do you already have a Dillard's store card?

yeah, i have had a Dillard's card for like 10 years

i had applied online, thought maybe i didn't need to apply in store since i had an acct. already

i'll probably go in the store today or tomorrow and see what happens... if i still don't get it i'll just wait 6 mos.
