Approved!!! :) Citi Premier Pass

Already applied for the Citi AAdvantage and sent in all my info they request. I'm going to call tomorrow for my application status / CL. Applied tonight for Dividend card, got their typical message about they will be in touch. Also, tried for Premier Pass, since I already burned a inquiry and figured if both were from Citi, I would only take one hit. Approved for $6000!

 

Now if I only get one, two, or hopefully three of their cards, what do I do to combine the CLs and how do I do the BT?

 

If I can do the BTs, I'd like to take mine and my DWs toy cards and consolidate them into one payment.

paid4mymistakes- When I applied for Citi AAdvantage on 6 July, they pulled TU. My TU fako score as of today is 649. My FICO score before repair on 28 May was 659. As of today, I have 1 collection for SPRINT reported by Cavalry, 1 payment after chargeoff reported by HSBC, and one paid auto loan with lates.

Congrats on Premier Pass. Nice CL too, get a few and combine and man will you have a nice card.

 

Meanwhile the knuckleheads declined me with a 700ish TU score. Reason? PP requires 2 TLs for 1 year each. Im appealing till Im blue in the face. (Rant over)

I dont have 2 TLs with 1 year each, I have one 8 month card, one 3 month card, and one 3 year card (moms) that im AU on.

 

I've been approved for an AA and 5 PPs so far. I would appeal if I were you as well.

and "i" would also avoid calling citi this early for any CLI requests to avoid credit review-

shouldn't have any problem- i had no problem during reallocation(of 4 cards)-

Unfortunately not... they pulled TU each time. Lucky for me I don't have many inquires but they are quickly adding up.

 

Since they are from the same company, most likely with the same coding, I wonder how much they will affect my score. But the increase in CLs to utilization should cover me. If I get cards that report high credit, I will be around 5%.

it may be because of server problem. just give it another try sometime later-

 

remember, once you get approved for Citi PP, you can apply and get approved for 2 or more PP cards

I just got the AAdvantage also, but the limit is not high enough to put everything on there.

I tried this morning and it was having problems. Later on, I tried to apply and it was slow. I thought it was a sign not to apply. Luckily, my app went through and was approved.

 

Hope it works out for you. Take Cleds advice, it worked for me!

if i may add...

 

its ok, if you don't get any email from them about your approval. i also never received one when i got approved for AA.

 

also, the log-in registration was useless for me, because before i receievd the card, whenever i logged on i would only get error message and when i received the card, citi told me to just re-register the account under a different username.

If you can risk a inquiry, then try... if you get approved, try again tomorrow. If not, you could always dispute the inquiry later.

Are you using the short cut application

for prior apps or the full app.

 

I also just got AAdvantage/Gold $4000 and

Quicken/Platinum for $14,000 on the same day.

Should I combine them or change AA to PP.

 

Advise please Cled & De$perate4Credit.
