I bank with BOA but I think I'm going to switch to using local banks. The charges the big banks charge on a monthly basis is absurd!

I've never had any charges from BOA on my account. Totally free since I've had it - 7-8 yrs.

USAA is the best bank- period.

Only deal with CUs, so far so good - no fee and many locations/free atms with the credit union network.

I'd probably like a CU, but I personally don't bother since my credit score is terrible. I've been with Bofa since I was a teenager. Lots of locations and easy to find. So far that's all that matters in my stage of life.

I use USAA for ccmp and insurance, and I use NFCU for C&S only because their is a branch nearby. When I move to the mainland I will change to USAA for everything.
