Wow i must say i have been overwhelmed by the credit i have been able to get. I got Sams this weekend and boy was it much needed. I also went out to my mail box today and WALLLAAA!!! There was a nice letter from JC pennys with 2 credit cards in it and a nice size credit line. !!!! I cant believe it.... i got declined about 2 months back and all of a sudden they send me cards. Ohhhh good credit is nice to have!! I have been paying EVERYTHING on time!! Funny thing is.... my personal credit is poo poo but this having good buisness credit has rubbed off on my personal credit meaning i am making sure it is all now getting paid by the due date and clearing things up on my report.

 

So anyone else have any new ones??? I love hearing how everyones doing!!

Did a series of apps for gas cards 2 weeks ago. Have been running to the mailbox everyday too find.....NOTHING. Not going to call. Hate to hear a live person says "denied". Hopeing the long delay means they are printing up my cards....not just denial letters. Will keep you posted. CONGRATS on JCPENNEY!

No i didnt have to give a pg for the visa... they just checked that i had a bank account and i think maybe d&b or the credit report not sure.... and the number that someone posted for jc penny is the one i used i believe... i faxed them in my application. I got the number off the main thread here. Hope you all get it but if you get declined.... dont worry they will send it to you in a couple of months like they did me unexpectedly.

Now if only a gas card would come through. I havent gotten any decline letters from them so im hoping they give me one.

Oh and if you do get a jc penny card... on my paperwork that came with the card.. it said you may also use it at Eckerds. I guess Jc penny owns them also. Dont know if you all have these in your area or not but they are like a walgreens.

UPDATE....and not a good one. :cry: Was denied for all 3 gas cards I applied for. Got a letter saying they would approve with PG if I sent the letter back within 15 days. Well, that defeats the purpose of biz credit. Reason for denial was lack of business credit. Guess I'll wait for some stuff to report to D&B and try again. In the meantime.....GAS IS KILLING ME! Up to $1.92 here as of yesterday. We're using around $600 worth a month! UHHHGGGGG!

Exxon small business does not require a PG after 6 months as a corp.

They do want trade ref and bank info though.

Applied for (and was denied) Shell/Texaco.....BP/Amoco......Conoco. All are issued by Citibank. I didn't apply for Exxon (even though there's one on every corner) because they tend to be about a nickle higher per gallon than all the other places. It might be the price I have to pay to have biz credit for gas, huh?

I'm not really looking to carry a balance. I just need to be able to "float" my gas costs all month long and deal with it in one swoop at the end of the month. I also need to be able to give my crews a gas card, instead of them bringing me recipts at the end of day where they ran out of gas and had to fill up out of thier pockets. :shock: Oh well. We could talk about this all day. I'll stop whining now. :wink: Guess I'll try for Exxon.
