I have a dispute with an out of state CA that has reached the AG complaint stage. Is it best to file the complaint with MY state's AG or with the AG in the state in which the CA is located?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Difficult to say, but whenever you are making a decision, MAKE DAMNED SURE that you can intelligently discuss the STATE law(s) that were not adhered to by the third-party entity...a State Attorney General does not have statutory authority to enforce federal law.

*I* would copy both --

Is the CA located in NY per chance?

Definately file with the MI AG and copy yours as well. Be specific in your letter to the MI AG as yo the issues and the law ... Maybe visit that website and see if there is any info there re: the CA and past complaints - lawsuits - sanctions etc

And copy the CA
