bump... curious as well Any comments on how good this CU is?
-
PS: They've been real good to me, and they're my highest limit. Also, I think they still offer 0% for the first $250 of your balance. That's kinda nice. The APR isn't outrageous either.

I have them. My experience was you get a CLI every year for good on-time payments. Went from 1250 to 2750 or something, after a year.

What should I do? Can this be a positive (installment-wise)? My closed Hooter's MC is showing up twice as closed. All open revolving are reporting OKAY. All installment loans (edu) are reporting twice each... $41k now looks like 82k in debt. What can I do? Thanks in advance.

hmph! It was Time Warner Cable... had to get a free annual report to find out. Can I (should I) dispute this thing? They didn't tell me they were going to pull, and if they did, it should have been a soft. Any advice?

I got shot down this time b/c of high util. THEY KNEW I HAD CALLED IN EARLIER AND GOT TAKEN FROM 600 to 1,000... argh. Anyway, they are going to ask you "what are you planning on doing with the increase?" or something like that, I said BT and she seemed to take to that.

Does anyone know who TXC is? I tried searching the boards (unfortunately it's three characters long), google, but no answers there.
-
I forgot to mention it was a SOFT. I'm going to try calling again right now. Thanks again, OP.

Also, I realize that in your sister's case, this couldn't have been possible, but for everyone else who can show ID and cash checks made out to them, CASH THEM.
-
AS ADVICE FOR EVERYONE READING... ALWAYS CASH YOUR CHECKS... if you have to drive a few extra miles to find a branch of the bank it was issued from... DRIVE IT It will save you a lot of headaches. I've started doing this for over four years now, and there's been no NSF, no BS whatsoever since then. You don't want to bounce a check and get stuck with fees and bouncing your own checks. Cash your check in the branch, then go to the ATM and deposit it (if you're weary of looking foolish). CASH YOUR CHECKS 24/7. ALWAYS.

Not sure. I would guess not but it might not hurt to try. The lady I spoke with was very nice, asked my income, pulled a soft, and looked at account history. I told her I was at the same level for four years and wanted a CLI. She put me on hold and said she would be back after "putting some numbers together."

YOU DA BOMB!!! Went from $600 to $1,000 !!!!! THANKS FOR POSTING!!!!!

You have no business with anything that has numbers with dollar signs in front of it. Grow a brain. Accidentally-speaking, you're as dumb as a rock. Oops. It was an accident. Haha.
