  1. Yeah, I currently have 3 $500 limit capital one cards.... Plus HSBC...
  2. From my experience, captial one will send you message via their message system on the online banking system for their credit cards. The dispute isn't closed until they say it is. Also, this is one of the reasons why stubhub's fees are soo high.
  3. Unfortunately, the above poster is right. "the right to off-set" would apply here if your mother's name was on all three accounts.
  4. DCU has been advertising heavily in Massachusetts lately. They have ads on every radio station in Boston. I would imagine that has a lot to do with it. Maybe "Rosefactor" is the talent doing the voice over!
  5. Nice then I will have 6 Capital One Credit Cards with 1k limits! I have 3 capital one cards. and 3 HSBC/Orchard/BBRZ Nice!
  6. Thanks, Should But isn't the FOAD letter only for debs that are out of reporting SOL as well. My credit reports show that its going to removed next Oct.
  7. Hi Everyone. My Dell card that was charged off finally got sold off about 6 months ago to Midland Credit collection agency group seeking payment. The DOFD on this account is from Oct. 2005 and the statue of limitations in my state MA is 6 years. Since this is now out of SOL by a month. Should I send them a validation letter even though i have been ignoring their letters for 6 months? Also, I should note that the balance they are trying to collect is increasing every month.
  8. Log in and try to send them a secure message. A popup box will appear asking if you would like to chat with CS. Just ask them if they would kindly remove the hold on your payment. They will come back in a few minutes advising you that the hold will only be removed for purchases and not for cash. I've done this plenty of times.
  9. Odds are one person you mailed the letter to accept your goodwill letter and updated the account for you. Then another person read your letter and changed it back to the correct status. You need to be careful when sending the same letter to everyone.
  10. I don't understand how this would go on for that long. Wouldnt Owner "C" who bought car from said broke dealer be wanting a title from the original Bank? Owner "C" doesnt want that car sitting on the back of their lot for said months either.
  11. Welcome! I saw your post on Fatwallet. You should be able to get some help here. Bumping for you
  12. I think he's refering to cashback on things he buys?
  13. its 4.48!
  14. Capital one will post to your account the same day before 3 pm. Avalible balance will post next morning. And DCU posts 1 sec after payment and avalible balance goes up as long as its before 930pm
