When DH used a CCCS program, they said they would negotiate lower interest rates but they never did. Come to find out a few of the companies refused the program and they never even bothered to tell us. All of the companies included closed the accounts once they were notified we were doing a CCCS program. GL

Unfortunately, the "boobs" are typically the elderly in my area. My DH takes many reports for this type of crime. I'm not sure why but plenty of people still fall for it so thanks for the FYI. I'm going to be sure to remind my aunts since this is close to our area.

I lost a few points can't remember now how many but I had a thin file and it was one of the oldest things listed on my reports. It was still worth having it come off. Congrats!

It's really hard to say how long it will take if they agree. I have had a company do it in two weeks or months. I hope that it works out for you! Keep us updated and sorry I couldn't be more specific with my answer.
