I'm in California and HSBC pulled my EQ file. Maybe that is why they declined you.

I was willing to make the sacrifice in the name of B* science but I don't have a Chase card.

You might want to go to this post: http://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?s...430074&st=0 You'll get a better idea on what you need to maximize your B*.

I think that you should add MPM + CCT for 2 EQ and 1 TU.

From an eHow.com article: "Identity Guard offers credit monitoring with the ability to see daily credit reports. They also include a lost wallet service to help you replace the content of your wallet, sans cash and pictures. They offer money advances in case you need money. Other wallet services only help you get your documents again. Identity Guard gives you access to a credit scoring system but not the FICO system that most creditors use." Has anybody verified if Identity Guard is a daily puller? I did a search, but could not find a definite answer... -
If you had to choose one, what would you supplement CCT with?

I use CCT and MPM (MyPrivacyMatters). They have done a good job with TU. I would actually like to add a 3rd daily puller to expedite my EQ B* before the axe drops. Any suggestions? -
These are the addresses I use: Equifax PO Box 740241 Atlanta, GA 30374 Experian PO Box 9701 Allen, TX 75013 Transunion PO Box 2000 Chester, PA 19022 Hope this helps!

Ok. Since everyone seems to be predicting some EQ C* next month, I want to find out how close I am to the magic number of 85. Creditexpert/CCT=28 Trucredit/Vertrue/MPM=13 Trucredit/Coverdell MY=1 Fair Isaac=2 CIC/Experian Alrts=1 TOTAL=45 If 45 is correct, then that leaves with 40 more to go. I hope I can make it for 20 more days. I've got a very bad feeling though... -
You could try lendingclub.com. They lend you up to 25K I think, at very decent rates. Good luck.

Alliant CU pulled EQ for me.

Quickest way to boost credit score after bankruptcy?
JT Drago replied to scorekard's topic in Credit Forum
I was discharged in 2008. After doing endless reading here on CB I started disputing my IIB accounts (12 total). I did a blanket dispute on all the accounts that were IIB and it worked for me. I've managed to delete them all on my EQ report and have raised my FICO to 717. I was even able to remove a judgment that I had. I'll start working on deleting my BK as soon as I find a good strategy. On TU I have 4 baddies left and the BK. EXP is the worst. I still have about 7-8 baddies. But my focus was on EQ and TU because of FICO. If I can't do anything with EXP, I'll just freeze it until I can devote more energy into trying to clean it up. EDIT: One thing that did raise my score a good chunk was a Kay Jewelers card that I got last month. They gave me $5100 and that helped my utilization big time. -
Wait! So does that mean that I am not really a Nigerian millionaire?

Your Credit Card Costs Are Cut But Foreign Fee Stays!!!!!

Sucks. I am going to Japan next month and I plan on using my debit/check card for most of my purchases. I wonder if bank debit/check cards fall under the same category as credit cards? I applied for Nationwide and Alliant credit cards yesterday, if I do get approved, I'll have to check how much their conversion fees are. Thanks for the heads-up OP. -

Here is my TU. I pull CCT & MPM. I count 30. Am I correct? BTW, why do I see just 1 MPM? I've been pulling for about a week now. -

Ok. Here is mine. I count 29 (MPM=7 & CCT=22). Is the count correct, or am I missing others. Thanks!
