I posted this on another thread earlier, so now I'm putting this in the right place!

I've gotten started on the HIPAA process, I used the letter from WhyChat to the three CRAs! Equifax has replied that the dispute is still in investigation, TransUnion deleted, and Experian says the debt is validated? Huh? How does that happen?

I have never paid the CA any money.

What should my next step be to get removal from Experian? I'm still waiting on Equifax, but I'm very confused as to why Experian is saying it's correct when it's been deleted as wrong information from another report?

Any insight would be great!

Thanks!

PS. I am also mostly opted out, still have to do a couple more accounts.

You can't be "mostly" opted out unless you are referring to other accounts besides the CRAs.

Make sure you have followed all the initial steps:

It is VERY common for each CRA to treat your dispute differently. TU is always easy to get deletions from ( but they are terrible about allowing inquiries)

Once you have the final results from Eq. you can start on the next step , the medical DV to the reporting CA(s)
