car lease question

I was denied a lease from US Bank and Ally came in at tier B. Anything we can do?

income is 120g scores are 650-ish (due to high utilization).

This happened on a Saturday should I have the dealer call Ally during the week and see if I can possibly get a tier bump?

Should I wait a month and pay the cards down?

How soon can we re-apply?

What type of car was it? I would think with scores around 650 you should have been approvable from the captive lender. If you think you can significantly improve your scores and can wait on the purchase I would do so...as far as the dealer being able to get a tier bump, I don't know if it is possible, but Marv likely will.

 

In the future, when you are considering a big purchase you should try to address these things prior to attempting to make the purchase.

Did you take delivery of the automobile and sign lease agreements?

I believe Ally decisions are good for 30 days, if you feel the need, then you could apply another time after the 30 day window is expired. Ally has their own scoring system that grades the paper which is not entirely FICO driven.

 

Personally I would not call Ally for a tier bump on a non-delivered deal to call in a favor.
