Hi, I only have two bad accounts on my credit (both medical). The accounts happened while at my current address xxx Main St . In this case, do I really need to have the Credit Bureau's delete my old addresses? I have already done the opt out and read WhyChat extensively. I do not have any other bad debts that could pop up from my old addresses. Just looking to streamline things and keep my old positive lines of credit active without having to contact anyone unnecessarily.

Thanks

Nope, you should be good to start the process.

trader... frankly, I would have the old addresses deleted anyway just as an extra precaution... yes, it may take another month or so to go through but unless you're in a huge hurry for a loan or something, those debts aren't going anywhere on your report... may as well get into as optimal a situation as possible. But make sure all your GOOD accounts are updated first.
