I have four different account listed in chexsystems. All closed for account abuse and owing several hundred dollars. They don't come off until 2016, so I am looking at paying them. Would this be my best course of action, or do you think I could dispute them?

Being recent reports that money is still owed on, it is unlikely that a dispute will work but you can still try. Paying off the debts owed will NOT remove you from chexsystems.
