I keep getting turned down by banks due to Chexsystems and EWS, but I received reports from both places and they are empty. I even received a letter from EWS saying I have nothing on file. What could be in my file that is getting me turned down?

Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated.

How long ago were you denied and have you received any letters since?Which banks did you apply? When banks turn you down or deny your app for checking they usually tell you (after calling chexsystem on your behalf) or a letter is sent out explaining or why.Legally you're entitled -- much like when you get declined for a cc

Did you owe money to banks at any time? Some banks will run a credit report and if the debt to a bank is listed there, they will also deny you
