If you were denied for a CLI or Account by W-E-X and you have a weak DNB then that denial should not have come as a suprise. I have been struggling to get away from my 1500.00 credit line on my main card with them for quite sometime. And after two recent cli denials in the past year it was becomming more and more frustrating. Finially got the number to underwriting. Denied for insufficient information. I asked where the information came from. She said DNB.I asked if there is anyway she could check EQ or EX because I know there is some additional information available on those reporting agencies. She placed me on hold and came back and increased me from 1500 < 3400.
Direct number, No recording or prompts. She answers and says ''How can I help you''.
Sorry but your call volume is about to increase......

Okay, thanks for all of your advice. my business became incorporated last year Jan and I was approved for my first AMEX Gold in July 11. Well, currently on my DnB report, I do not have a paydex score, not one trade, and I am like a 7, if I recall. Anyways, I sent an application in last week to Jiffy Lube and was approved the next day for $1200 on the universal card. Since then I have opened Quill 1000, Grainger 2500, and Uline 1000. Do you think I should go for this card or should I aim for something else?

Also, is there anyway that I could get my Amex Gold Biz to send a report to DnB? I have been using that card faithfully....most importantly, I have 7 months of history.

It looks like GULF Fleet Card and maybe LUKOIL have scary similair formats to other WEX CARD apps, so maybe they are underwriten by same company? If anyone is in the know.....

Well I already have the Jiffy Lube Universal card and I am going to see if I can get my personal Pep Boys card coverted to business.... So that leaves me with the Wright Express Universal Branded card.... I
Can I go for the Wright Card with my current situation?
Also, if you can located their applications it will tell you if they are underwritten by the same company.

My card is a WAWA (local convience store & GAS station MEGA CHAIN in the Greater Philadelphia area) Wright Express. Wawas are everywhere here by me and have some of the cheaper gas. By having it as a UNIVERSAL I can use it everywhere else almost. I started with a $1800 limit in NOV and requested a CLI in LATE JAN and got it to $5000.00 after a single payment.
Since I got a Universal gas card, I decided for all the rest to be plain jane ones like a JIffy Lube only card and a PEPBOYS only card. This is how I figured it best for myself. Now since I applied in December for the Jiffy Lube and got a $750 limit and have yet to even use it. In January I applied for a PEPBOYS and got some wait code and then a letter asking for a deposit or line of credit drawn against the account for a year came. I called the company and the woman said that so many cards so fast caused a stop with them. I could rearrange my limits if I talked with a guy and he never bothered to call me back after being transferred to his voice-mail and clearly leaving all details needed.

Is this card underwritten WEX? Cause I just got approved by for the Jiffy Lube Card, Universal and I also apped for the other card you mentioned previously, WEX branded universal card.

Yes, it is a WAWA FLEET Wright Express Universal with the set up fee and $2 a card a month fee for my two cards.

Thanks for your insight lastnight. I applied for the WEX branded card lastnight, checked status a few moments ago, and it was approved. So, I called the number at the bottom of the link and was approved for 5k. Again thanks for your insight. You know, its pretty interesting that I have no accounts reporting to DnB, but I do have a rating of 3 and no paydex. I also checked Equifax and could not find my listing there, but did have a small amount of history reporting to EX. After doing a little reading and conversing with you, I was able to get the Jiffy Lube 1200 universal card, WEX universal card 5k. Orginally for Jiffy I asked for 800 and WEX 2500.

Are you sure? I only ask cause I read elsewhere that depending on what gas brand of the universal may report at only one or two of the three. Personally I never pulled my corp files just yet from a CRA, so I am only relying on what others have told me.

Well I can only comfirm for the regular WEX,Jiffy Lube and PEP boys accounts. I would imagine that they are handled the same way since they are underwritten by the same company.... but who knows.

My PEPBOYS FLEET came last week, they took the 1k deposit and opened it up for me.
