35K Tradeline added to my Dunns file. Has this happened to anyone?

Hey Folks,

I have been watching the board for about a week or so, and there are so many interesting posts here. My business has a Duns number, but no tradelines. All of a sudden, I get an emal from Duns that says a business has posted to to my account. I look, and wow, 35K tradeline revolving account. I have now idea what it is, but it is current. Recently the amount owed went from 35K to 30k, meaning a payment of 5k was made that month. Has anyone experienced this? I have attached a pic of my profile.

YES.....AND I WOULD CONSIDER IT A BLESSING AS LONG AS THEY KEEP PAYING THEIR BILLS....THAT LARGE AMOUNT IS GOING TO LOOK GOOD

Something smells a little fishy about this!! How much does it cost for that trade??

i don't think they paid for the trade....i think DnB made a mistake and put it on there.....if it's mistake and they continue to pay their bills...i would not fight taking it off....now...if they start slacking then i would have it removed.....but i have heard of DnB doing this before...it does happen

I am not selling anything. I tried to attach a pic of my DnB profile to show what I was talking about. Just a newbie on this board. It really tripped me out when I saw this tradeline. But like you said, as long as they pay their bills... cool!

Ok sorry we get alot of sellers on here some times, hopefully they keep paying there bills and dont go late because getting anything corrected with D&B is like pulling teeth!

How can I find out who is reporting this tradeline? When I called them, they said that they could not tell me.

This is what he was trying to post - he put it in the code box - I was on my way out, and just moved it out of the forum. I agree, it looks like a sneaky sales pitch, but I'll give the benefit of a doubt.

It has happened before. DNB and the other CRAs make errors (MANY of them), sometimes errors that benifit small business owners.

I remember they posted a $1000 tradeline that I thought was cool until I saw it was 91 days late and my paydex shrank to a 7. I called DnB the next day and they took care of it by removing it... I guess it randomly happens sometimes

yeah like i mentioned before...watch it...DnB updates every sunday.....but be thankful for it......and while you have it start building up more TL's cause having that TL is going to help you get others! so take advantage of it!! don't go to crazy where they see you applying for a ton of stuff....but take advantage of it while it's on there and build your report up with other TL's!

With all the errors in D&B's system they are bound to make an error in someone's favor eventually Enjoy it, and cross your fingers that it stays positive.

I have a similar thing, except I bought the DNB program. I listed 6 credit references, so far three were "Accepted" and 3 were "declined". They listed only 1 account so far with a 15k net 30 with 0 balance. Im waiting on the others. But with just this reference in my report, is there anything I should apply to? What about when all 3 hit I expect during Sunday Nights update?
