Does anyone know if this bank uses Chexsystems/Telecheck/EWS? This bank would be perfect for me with their secured products.

Going to bump this so I dont make a new one. MCA, do you know of any San Antonio credit unions that I may get into without Chexs? You seen my report, going to do my main banking with USAA but want a CU to build a relationship with and maybe get into their products since USAA is very limited to me.

United SA uses Chexs but if you dont already have an acct with them they will put you on a "New Start" account program for a year. Its a very stripped down account that the bank will not tell you about the actual ins and outs of it and there is a $5 monthly charge with the account YMMV. I would say go to Randolph Brooks, Firstmark and or River City because of better hours of operation and more branches. JMO

we actually use both. We use chex systems to search for any outstanding Banking chargeoffs and the “soft pull†on the credit score searches as well.

Unfortunately I believe I am on Telechex, an old roommate and I shared an account for the household bills... worked 4 years well until he got weird and over drafted it (Compass Bank) who I believe used them? Before I could correct it they sent it (longer story I was away for about 2 months for work) it was reported and I got the letter from them. Even paying it Compass said they would not remove my name, so I was like whatever. And the balance with Woodforest I think they use them too, but I am ordering a copy of my Tele report to double check.

 

That is good news though on United, I will mail in an app Monday, even though I like Firstmark they have no secured card or secured personal loans which is what I am after at present time. Tank you so much for giving me the information, hopefully I can get in!

Just reread that, from my Chexs report only one actually shows a debt charge off, other to just say NSF with no info so I am hoping itll be ok if USAA took me, standard or that special program as long as I can get into the other stuff. ^^

Well I did a double wrong read thinking USAA was Chexs, but from another post it is Telecheck and even commented on it >.>. Anyway I had already sent in the app for United, just got it back denied due to Chexs so I guess I need to look for another but im in doubt I will find one. I was looking for your list on bank info MCA but the link I find is dead, did ya take it down? Anyhow, I will be exploring, maybe I should try firstmark if they use Tele and so does USAA I may have a shot now. If anyone reads this and can provide imput let me know!

my lists are all available on my forum at www.chexvictims.net USAA does only use telecheck but they also use EWS many reported to chexsystems are also reported to EWS.

Makes me wonder if I am extremely lucky and anything Telecheck dropped off way before time around this time or what. I found a letter from them on my old Compass account from 2007 well within the 7 years, so far USAA is still open over 30 days and BOA almost 1.6 years. I am fixing to mail a request to Telecheck for a report out of curiousity, hopefully this doesnt cause any ruckus.

Well I guess I will just stop and just wait. I just got a letter back from Firstmark about a "outstanding issue" so I am going to stop. Ill just try and fix/let time go on whatever is going on... don't wanna end up flagging either to cause a ruckus on what I got now. Thanks for all your help MCA, you are totally awesome!
