New Public Record

I got a free CR through Identity Guard and it comes with some little monitoring thing and today I get an email saying I have a new public record, and I have asolutely no clue as to what the heck this is. Can someone help me out here?

 

It reads as follows:

Court:

CI

Filing Date:

Court Number:

ZP 4XXXXXX

Type:

PC

 

I have searched and I can't figure out what ZP and PC mean. Can anyone tell me what this is?? This makes no sense to me.

I also have another "New Public Record" from a different CRA with a different court number and I have no idea how to look up the court number!!! Please help!

I don't specifically know about the PR, but you might be able to get more details if you pull a report directly from the CRA using Annualcreditreport.com (the place where you get one free CR per year per CRA).

+1. At least pull a backdoor report if you're not entitled to a free paper report.

A public record usually means someone got a judgement on you. We had a similar thing happen, I called our local courthouse where the judgement was filed and they had some info. You should be able to go down and get copies or maybe even check your local county court online and see if they have a way to look up cases online.

I can't get a free report for a few months still, which is why I did the free trial through identity guard.

I did check casenet and not only does it have no record of any of the case numbers it has no record of me whatsoever! And there is absolutely NO reason why there should be any judgments against me, in fact I just had one vacated! I'm so frustrated with this whole credit thing. There are so many things on my report that are just flat out wrong and it's making things so difficult for me! Ugh!

Go through the backdoor to check, you don't need to wait for the annual.

Hang on a minute, do you have any old CO's that still update every month?

 

Cap One says this EVERY month on my EX, EX reports to all the CRA's that this is a judegemtn being added JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE UPDATING.

 

I have gotten the same SW alert for 7 months and nothing has popped up on my reports yet.

 

Is everything you have as far as baddies PAST your SOL?
