You will regain the points when the new card reports. You util probably went up.

I accidentally 'lost' my oldest card and gained some points. My AAofA went up according to a scorepower from myFICO :good: .

Indeed, the only thing a lost/stolen TL affects is average age. If it lowers that, it can decrease your score.

Pulled a new Ex report, and both the old and new BOA cards are on there--both reporting correctly. It's a 16 year TL, so I would think--if anything--the score would have gone up.

The only other thing that I did differently is I let 2 cards report a small balance this statement (out of 7 TL's), and then PIF'd. I often don't let any report a balance.

Not sure what the 6 point loss was about, but I won't sweat it.

Well, since we no longer have access to FICO EX scores, you can't determine true pointage loss. FAKOs don't really mean anything. Even if we still had access, you would have needed to pull a report right before and then right after to see what effect if any the change in reporting caused...

Oy...never mind me. I was confused.

The 6 point drop is on EQ, as reported by MyFico Scorewatch, which I don't want to buy a report from.

I was trying to piece together information from the free EX montioring I have.

I totally need more coffee.

Thanks, Trevor.
