I sent chex a letter requesting MOV, after they sent me a b.s. form letter in response to my
request for verification of accts. they are reporting.

I haven't heard from them on the second one, but the letter they sent me on the first acct. included a
acct. registration and agreement contract from PNC Bank, for two people that I don't know

It contains their names (husband and wife I assume) signatures, addy from 2004 and

THEIR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS. This is how identity theft is made possible.

I would bet that they sent my pers. info to those people. I haven't been able to locate
a current phone # for them yet, so I can find out and to inform them that chex sent me
their info.

I was just wondering, what would be the proper way to proceed.
Do I send chex a letter informing them of their mistake and let them know that they still owe me
a response to my MOV letter, or do I send, the document they sent me, to the proper authorities.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

thanks,
Tim

Actually you are the 9th person to tell me that this has happened. It is amazing how they continue to make this mistake. In all the other cases that I know of, they did nothing about it. They simply say that the wrong number may have been keyed in etc

It is not easy getting a person at Chexsystems on the phone but here is what one other person had told me in the past

QUOTE
The number is (800) 513-7125 and after you choose the option to hear the message in english, press option #7 and you WILL be connected to a live person. After you hit #7, you get a long message pertaining to if you have your report on hand, it then sounds like you might have been disconected, but you aren't, it rings and then you are connected. Hope it helps you!

I would think that their would be some lawsuits happening because of it.

I know if they sent my pers. info (especially ss#) to other people I would be looking

to sue. Gotta be some legal action that can be used for that

I believe one of the persons that had the same thing happen actually located and told the other person what had happened but again no one did anything. They definitely should be sued

I have been trying to google the people that belong to the documents that I got from chex,
but having no luck. I would like to know if they got my info since I got theirs.

I would sue in a heartbeat. That would be EZ money
