Automatic Biz LOC increase from Chase!

Wow! I almost peed my britches!

 

In the mail today came a letter from Chase saying "as a valued Small Biz customer, we've PRE-APPROVED you for an LOC limit increase from $100k to $115k ($15,000 smackeroonies!!!)

 

Same interest rate, yada, yada... Sign this authorization with primary's SSN and fax or mail it back."

 

(Guess they'll pull a hard, which hubby could do without, but he's sitting pretty.)

 

Waaay too kewl! Now THAT's service!!!

If you don't mind me asking, what were your scores when you got the card? Did you supply financials etc? Thanks!

It'a not a card, it's a pure-dee "write your own checks" Line of Credit.

 

As for scores, it's in hubby's name only and I don't quite recall what his scores were about 14 months ago when he got it, but I'll quess it was something like 705 or so.

 

I think I originally wrote about it here somewhere. Might wanna do a search if it's important to you. (Check around Jan/Feb 2003)

$15k increase showed up Friday morning. No inquiries!! (To be fair, Chase does a soft each and every darn month, so I guess they were satisfied enough.)

Thanks Breeze. That's the first time I've ever seen a pre-approved biz CLI and it was a very pleasant surprise.

 

for anyone interested when Chase does pull a hard, in Texas they use Experian exclusively.

Sorry milkmom, I missed this part of your question before. Answer: No, we never provided financials, but we cultivated the heck out of our assigned Small Biz Relationship Mgr. The actual pre-approved offer had that manager's boss's name and signature on it.
