Medical Collection

I have a medical collection that I paid in 2003. It was reported to EX and I disputed it off.

 

In July of 2007 I noticed that this medical collection was now being reported to EQ! I tried to dispute it off but it remained. Every time I try to dispute again I get the previously investigated letter.

 

I am wondering why this medical collection was reported to EQ 4 years after it had been paid! What date would the CRA's go by to report the 7 years? Would it be in Jan 03 or in July 07.

 

Does anyone have any advise on how to get this off my reports? I have tried contacting the collection agency only to have my emails and letters ignored. This was a hospital bill that was sold to a collection agency.
