HI all,

I've just completed the removing of all my old addresses, all except Experian that is; they refuse to remove my old addresses for some reason. Can I go ahead with the HIPAA process even though Experian will not delete old addresses?

Also, I have six medical collections on my credit reports, one is showing paid, can I write the HIPAA letters to dispute all of them at the same time? One letter for each account to each CRA all at one time?

I'm confused about the stationary stuff for the letters, could someone elaborate on this? Do I really use purple fonts or paper or what?

Thanks!

If so then yes, you can proceed with the dispute letters

One letter for each account to each CRA all at one time?You need only send one letter to each CRA listing all the medical accounts, paid or unpaid, in the order they appear on THAT report, like this

I have no knowledge or records of the following accounts on my report # xxxxx;

# xxxxx from xxxxxx

# xxxxx from xxxxxx

etc. etc.

I'm confused about the stationary stuff for the letters, could someone elaborate on this? Do I really use purple fonts or paper or what?The simplest thing to do is to use lined yellow legal pad paper and hand write your dispute with regular ink, the next choice is to use a purple or teal itallic or "handwriting" font on your computer and print it on paper that has a colored background design, or import a watermark. The purpose of this is to prevent the CRA automated READING computers from reading and automatically processing your dispute letter. Make sure you hand print the envelope CLEARLY in black ink as the PO also uses scanners and they need to be able to read the address

Thanks!
