Personal loan?

Hello everyone!

 

I'm looking for information about getting a personal loan to consolidate many small cc bills into one larger payment once monthly. To pay off everything, I need a loan for about $5500.

 

First off, I have a mobile home, land, and a vehicle completely paid off. My home is definitely appraised for over this amount and I could use the equity. I was looking on E-Loan.com and it said they couldn't do home equity loans on mobile homes. I'm wondering if all places won't do this on a mobile home?

 

And what about the vehicle? Is there any way I can use that title for a personal loan?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would NOT apply at eloans or lendingtree anyway as they will farm out your app and you could be shot-gunned and receive tons of inquiries.

I would try a local credit union if possible.

+2 on the CU. They commonly do loans using a paid off car as security.
