Tricare Has Denied My Claim

I had an account that went to collections..upon following WhyChats advice about checking the EOB, I discovered that there was the wrong SSN listed and it also stated my hubby wasnt on DEERS. I call Tricare and is told they will be sending payment out to the OC and to give it 15 days.

 

Today I check the claim status and it was denied cause claims have to be filed within a yr, so Im unsure as to what to do? The original bill was $210.00...the charged off amount is $115.00

Send the medical dispute letter,

if it is verified you have a choice of paying it to the OC with the HIPAA letter insert "a", or disputing it to the OC with the HIPAA letter insert "b".

 

If you use the insert "b" you should include a copy of the correspondence from Tricare
