I have 2 medical collections from 2 different CA's on my Equifax report. Have been disputing both accounts for 2 years in every way possible with CRA's (always verified). I do owe this debt. One is from BC services for $36 and the other from Business Revenue Systems for $444. Original creditor is Diversified Radiology and Platte Valley Medical Center respectively. I suppose Diversified is a dept. from Platte Valley. I have been reading your work and posts thoroughly, but can't find an answer. You state that if you have paid CA this will not work, so here is my delima. Back in 2002 before CB, I paid Business Revenue Systems roughly one third of amount owed (was originally $600+). I have had no further contact with this CA since. I also NEVER have had any contact with BC Services or the original creditor. I know that the $444 debt is correct amount. I know nothing about the $36 debt. I wish to now attempt to move forward with your medical hippa disputes. Is this still available to me? These are the only collections on my credit reports.

Send the CRA's where this/these accounts are reporting the medical dispute letter.

 

If the accounts are verified BY THE CA then pay the OC with the HIPAA letter insert "a".

 

If the accounts are NOT deleted and only verified by the CRA, send the reporting CA the medical DV and follow up with a redispute to the CRA with a copy of the medical DV.
