Two Questions: if you have medical collections, that you owe, do you:

dispute with CRA, Original Creditor, or CA? With Hipaa Letter or just regular dispute?

What if the medical bill is from a car accident you were not responsible for, and your attorney contacted the hospital and asked not to submit to collections... but, HELLO..... it's on my CRA from NCO?!

Thank you.

You opt out, send the "medical dispute letter" to the CRA. IF it is verified, you use the HIPAA letter to the OC ( insert "b" ) AFTER making sure that your attorney has been sent copies of ALL your correspondence and has the opportunity to ADD your " credit damage " to your accident claim.
