I have my SOL letter ready to send out.

But, not real sure if I am suppost to send a C&D letter with it.

Or, does the first letter cover C&D?

Thank You..

(Sorry got into wrong post)

If you are sending a SOL letter out on a medical collection, you are in the right Board, but proceeding incorrectly.

If it is a medical collection you should send the CRA the medical dispute letter FIRST.

If it is verified, then you should consider either PAYING the OC with the HIPAA letter,( insert "a") or if there is NOTHING owed to the OC, sending the OC the HIPAA letter, (insert "b")

The SOL letter does not work well with medical accounts, as SOME medical accounts have NO SOL.

If it is some other type of account, yes the SOL letter incorporates an effective cease and desist.

In either case, make sure you have opted out, deleted old addresses and sent an appropriate dispute to the CRA FIRST, to make sure you are not wasting your SOL letter on a CA who could be deleted with a simple dispute.
