i just got an invite to "apply" in the mail. anyone heard of it? no bank is listed as the issuer. just mastercard. it says "MasterCard BusinessCard".

Tony, I just got an invite, too! It sure looks cool! And, the terms are awesome! 0% BT for 16 months (until January 2008). 7.99% fixed thereafter. 5% cash back or travel rewards. No annual fee. Man, it would be my best biz card yet (even better than the Advanta).

 

The only thing I found about the issuer is a company called Val Corporation. I've never heard of it. Here is the URL to the application form: http://www.valonlinenow.com. What do you think guys???

It's through advanta I think. If you read the terms and goto the bottom you will see a link, takes you to advanta and a whois on the domain shows advanta too.

its advanta. pulled personal and it was equifax.

 

got the 7-10 day message...my EQ is ok except i have a few INQ's right now..that might shoot me down.

If it's Advanta, then I'm going to wait until 2nd quarter next year. I don't want another $5k card, which is what I will get because my EQ still contains an old CO (will drop off March 2007). Thanks for your research, guys!! You're the best!!!

I guess you can only have 1 account...

You can't have both this black card and advanta from what I am told currently from the CSR... She is going to transfer me to see about a CLI on the advanta account that I currently have. I only have a $5000 CL so we will see.

I applied for this last night after I saw the original post.....got approved, but it did not disclose the CL....called today...got a whopping $2.5K....anyone know or have a thought about CLI's? At activation? how long until I can ask or get auto-cli?

I finally got on TC tonight and see that advanta made a pull on Experian . My EQ file has been hung due to too many softs, so I guess they pulled the EX as their alternate choice. Still haven't gotten my card yet, but will see about CLI on activation when it arrives.

they approved me wiht a 2000 dollar limit.....i started laughing on the phone. i told them to shove the card where the sun dont shine....i told the rep...why do i need a 2000 card..when i have multiple 20k plus cards..you gotta be kidding me....

 

advanta bites it as far as i'm concerned..i'm glad they messed up now rather then later...
