Hello all, i had a question, my current service providers 2 year contract is up very soon, I would like to go to cingular. when i got this account with us cellular 2 years ago, i had to put down a 400 dollar deposit, my scores were in the mid to high 500's. Now with my scores (in my sig) do you think i would have a problem? does anyone have any experience with cingular wireless?>

Cingular normally pulls Equifax depending on your area. I am confident that you would have no deposit based on that score.

Im in VA if that helps. I really hope they pull EQ. that score is probably a little better than that now too.

If I were you I'd put up a deposit to avoid having credit yanked, but that's just me.

my sources tell me you probably will not have a problem getting approved for up to 5 lines

I've got a good friend who works for cingular. He'll get me a pretty good deal, if he didnt work there i would've went to verizon.

What can you offer people who do NOT have ATT as a local service provider?

I know all about sales in TN. In fact they got my old Director Pat. He has just left Cingular and went to work for Ascurion.

Just an FYI for Cingular service. Our cell phone statement is attached to our regular home phone statement and we had no deposit. I know our credit was bad when we rec'd. offers for free phones from them a few years ago, when we were using the pay as you go phones. When we called, they told us how it would work, so we got them. If they run credit checks, it didn't affect us that we know of.

Are you talking about the DMDR offers for free phones? If so, they are NOT pre-approved. We run credit 100% of the time and it is always a hard inquiry. If you have a offer in the business office that would be based off existing local telephone service.

ristay would be more experienced at that than I would I only deal with new Cingular customers .. any upgrades get referred to the call center
