HSBC AMEX

I'm on my 2nd billing cycle with my new HSBC AMEX. I did a BT to it when I applied for this card and still have not seen this TL on TU, EX, or EQ.

 

Does anyone know if this card reports to the credit bureaus?

i don't think many have the hsbc amex card , i heard it was coming out . what kinda cl they give u.

I received a pre-approved offer in the mail for it. They gave me a 2000 CL. I had asked for a BT of 1500 when I applied. This is for 0% APR until 6/2008 then 13.99% afterwards and for purchases. No AF. I have had 2 other HSBC cards for over 1 1/2 years. BK7 is almost 2 yrs. old. They pulled EQ with a FICO score around 650. So far, they don't have a website for account management or online bill payment but it's supposed to be coming soon.

 

I haven't seen this TL on my reports yet and wouldn't mind if it stayed this way.

 

If anyone here knows if they report, let me know. Thanks.

I have this card also, and it has not reported for me either. Actually I am more upset at the lack of an online account management tool, as I pay everything online. I've had the card since August, and it hasn't reported.

 

FWIW... I got a pre-approved offer in the mail also.

Thats what I thought...... its pretty frustrating.

 

It sure is! I love online bill payment. I thought it was pretty standard for a company as big as HSBC to have a web site for the cards they issue.

 

I'll take the good with the bad and ask for a CLI and another BT and hope it stays off my CR's.

Good news...they now have online account management. I just signed up for it. You can sign up at www dot accountcentralonline dot com.

 

I called and couldn't get a CLI and if I request a balance transfer it will be like a cash advance at 21% APR. If you get a preapproval letter for this card, with a BT offer, go ahead and request all you want to transfer on the application because you may not get a 2nd chance at it.
