Hello, Its been a while since I have been on creditboards but I remember how helpful it was when I helped someone repair their credit score back in 2010. Now, I am helping my father clear up 3 unpaid medical bills. He is in a hurry to clear these up because he needs to qualify for a loan. He has two bills for $900 and $400 that were from a local hospital that went to collections and the Collection company is California Service Bureau Navato, CA 94949-6139 Has anyone had dealt with this company? My father is willing to pay the bills, I just want to make sure that these negative marks are deleted once they are paid for. Is there a process I should go through to ask them to put something in paper so that it is deleted once the total amount is paid? If you can guide me to a link or a template letter that would be great. Also he has another medical bill in collections with Credit Consulting Service Salinas, CA 93901-3345 Has anyone dealt with this company? My dad is willing to pay off this bill too as it is only $100 but we really want it removed from his credit report. Also I know in the past, just paying the bill will get it from an unpaid status to a paid status, will that increase the credit score or will it just stay the same? I vaguely rememeber from 2010 that a paid and unpaid collections is still bad. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you guys so much in advance for any help.

I use my AMEX costco card most of the time but there are places that don't take AMEX so I am looking for something that gives me similar rewards to my AMEX card. I am looking for something that will give me the highest % across the board, since i use the card to purchase automotive goods which i resell, so I don't think it really fits into the normal categories. Thanks for all the help so far -
I am looking to move away from my United Mileage Card What Visa credit card has the best cash back program? Please let me know what you guys have... What is the % you get back, is it a tiered % back for certain categories or is it one set % back in all categories? Also, please include if you pay an annual fee. Thanks for all the help!!

How long does it usually take for JB Robinson to reply to your application if you have already been approved for Kay/Jared? Has everyone gotten USPS mail responses or do they do email responses too? I applied 9 days after I was accepted for Kay/Jared.. Are they going to use the same hard inquiry or do you think they will use a new one? Thanks in advance.

I applied last week and I checked CCT just now and it is showing up on only EX. I am about to pull a EX back door and I'm pretty sure it will be there too. I guess they do report right around the 23rd of the month.

When I started 3 months ago I sent out a jack attack letter and it came back verified. I started off with 5 baddies and am down to 2 and these are my last 2 charge offs. The past 2 months I have started with the other side of the credit repair, adding an AU, a secured CC, a unsecured CC and the Kay/Jared combo but im holding off on the JB Robinson... I know its a shoe it but I rather take my time and not worry about AA. How should I proceed with the 2 unpaid charge offs? -

Yea, I have read up a lot on Cap 1 and I am thinking that I will just let that one fall off on its own. I am trying to work more with WFNNB. My goal is to have this one deleted some how. WFNNB changed the date it was closed recently and that triggered a change it the date it was due to fall off from 3/2011 to 6/2011... this is why I want to get an exact DOFD or the date it was first paid late. How could I dispute this sudden changed in the closed date and the date it is due to fall off? -
The reason why I am concerned is that the date the account is due to fall off has changed from 3/2011 to 6/2011 what can I do to get that fixed?

Thanks for the reply. What does OTS stand for? I am hoping to some how use this to get them deleted off my credit reports for good since its not due to fall off until early 2011. I am pretty sure if I do a re investigation they will just change the date to save there flowers. I am planning to pull a few more hard reports in the next couple of days to get extra proof of this and to build a longer paper trail... how can i use this as leverage for a full deletion? Like something along the lines it affected me getting credit for something else or what other strategies are there? What would you guys do to get this deleted as soon as possible since they did change the CLOSED DATE?? And I would have proof of this since i have a old hard copies withe the old date and new ones with the updated date.
