    WE CLOSED!!!!

OH YEAH? WELL, WE OPEN! j/k, had to congratulations We closed on the 14th of feb, and I forgot to announce it. Hope you enjoy your new home!
  2. apparently "reading this board' didnt help AT ALL.
  3. I'd say to start looking at more sources of income, and if spouse isnt on the ball, have a serious talk with said spouse. Do what you can to avoid BK and/or late payments. None of this is worth the stress you're going to endure if something happens to you as the main wage earner.
  4. With all due respect, if you recognize you are in over your head, you should be more concerned about making arrangements for the future than this one instance. Plenty more of these are ahead if you are out of work for just a week or so. Can your wife get a night time job?
  5. I think it must depend on where you live. I know for a fact our house is worth more than it appraised for based on what the others sold for, and lo and behold, it appraised for the sales price that we were buying it for. I guess when they are looking at the sales price, its pretty easy to make that decision.
  6. probably wont hurt THAT much, but I'm 100% with you... kick some ace.
  7. part of it is also what sorts of limits that they already had... if you only have 1k limits in general, you may be able to get a 2k or 1.5k limit when you apply for credit with someone else. This is the exact reason to always have 2 or 10 more cards than just a single one.
  8. I got same message and denied, I had a 662 Exp score (who they pulled for me in NC), and only 1 negative on it, a cap 1 c/o (paid) from 2001.
  9. I totally agree. I havent spoken to a SINGLE PERSON who didnt have their appraisal "magically" come in at the offer price. Tell me that there isnt something funny with that...
  10. but i will say, highly doubtful that she'll have it all sorted by the time she moves. utility companies remember problems very well.
  11. when a family member breaks the ethical trust of something like this, then i say no holds barred.
  12. And they shouldn'treport a 30 day late.
  13. ha, it was working just 5 mins ago!
  14. I was approved for 500 with a 615.
  15. you mean "shouldnt"
