  1. Sorry guys I really forgot to update my signature! My util is currently 0% right now I may go up to 10% to boost a few points in a bit. Also my AAOA is 1.6 years. I have no INQs right now and have been letting the accounts age. I didn't apply for any of the accounts I listed above those were possibilities and as of now I am looking to only apply for 1 HIGH Limit card. My income is 10k a year as I work part time and am a full time college student. Thanks a lot for the tips I'll look for a good CU, my father made me a member of his CU(Chicago Municipal Employees Credit Union). The visa application was a little scary to be honest but maybe I'll give it a shot. I think I'll try Citi Forward and perhaps Amex Zinc(I have dreams of getting black one day this can't hurt). I only hope I'm approved and the limits aren't low but maybe I'll have to wait till I'm working full time and over 21 which sucks:-( Thanks Guys! Appreciate the help, Love this place. Any other suggestions would help.
  2. I'm 19, with two credit cards(Chase Student +1 1600$ limit 18%APR and a CapitalOne Platinum Mastercard 100$ limit 12.15%APR). These cards suck but I will happily let them be. Chase chargess me <$2 a month in service fees when I have no balance(i think) and don't use the card, which bothers me. Credit Scores,as of February 8th,2010, are 740 TU and 746 EQ. I now would like some grown up cards(i.e. cards with a 5k limit or more and hopefully no annual fees). Once I get these cards I imagine I will be done applying for credit until I am ready to try and purchase a car(after college), and then maybe a home. So my goal is to finish getting the cards I need now and then let the accounts age. I may splurge on something if I get a big card but I don't mind my life is quite boring as is. Possibilities: Barclay Visa(Apple, no interest for 12 months) - Computer would help for College, but having debt for another year would suck Chase Freedom Credit Card (I'd guess I'll get ~3k limit more would be nice) Slate with Blueprint Macy's Or Nordstrom(I figure 1 store card with help diversify slightly) Any American Express(not sure which, may have to swallow an annual fee) I've been pre-approved for the worst one which I don't want. So does anyone have an suggestions for high limit cards? I have a relatively thin file but it's better than nothing. I could swallow an annual fee so long as it's no more than 200$ and interest rate doesn't bother me that much either. -Thanks!
  3. 22$ for both scores, not too bad since i pull once a year only.
  4. No wonder I suddenly stopped seeing the credit steps increases. This sucks I guess I'll ask for a limit increase in a bit, not gonna ask for another cap1 card though not worth it.
  5. If you're in Credit Steps you're in slight luck with patience. I personally opt-ed out of all 3 monthly pay services they tryed to tack onto my account. Not a big fan of them because of my small limit, but see if you're in credit steps.
  6. Crap One added 3 monthly services to my card upon activation, I canceled all luckily upon activation. It gave me quite the headache to forgo any trials and nonsense.
  7. the linked video is absurb it seems its part of some scam to sell black card stickers
  8. Good read and video. I use to know one of the fellows mentioned, never that well though. But let me tell you, you set foot in a carder forum, you set foot in junk. I'm surprised a lot of the tips that got through about members being informants were actually legit.
  9. 18, day after my birthday applied for Chase Visa, got it luckily. Road is slow but at least I'm already on it.
  10. Can't PM for some reason, probably should read a faq but maybe someone knows? And it's not disabled in my board settings.
  11. 3.45 for Premium in Chicago(Not even the expensive part). I'm happy.
  12. Hello everyone, just looking at the sheer amount of posts here I think I found the right place. I come in search of the proper way to maximize my credit score from 0 as I have yet to wreck it luckily.
