This just worked for me.

It shows what i owe after rehab minus all the fees. I only had 3 yrs of credit history. The student loan posted with a year of 1992, giving me 17 yrs on the account!. I went from 619 to 670 average.

Update. Student loan hit credit reports. Backdated to 1992. 50 point upgrade across the board. k.

Their Verisign certificate shows they are actually ACS Education Services. This company appears to be used by many others as a payment handler/processor for student loans. They look more legit, even using 128 bit encryption for all transactions. Wachovia is using them for their student loans. just my 2 cents. k.

Update : I called Pioneer this afternoon. I was indeed picked up by the new lender (dammit, forgot to ask who that was). No more rehab payments..wait until contacted by mail from the DOE. Wheeeeeeeeeee! Only took 10 payments. Ez Peezeee

Innocent enough. Lot of incorrect information out there. Check your credit reports to see if they pulled employer info from there. If not, just make sure the info on the paperwork is correct i.e. your ssn, name, addy, bdate etc.. Hopefully if i gave wrong info someone will correct me, however i just finished my rehab (10 payments total) and the above is my experience with it. k.

Interesting..... went to my mortgage broker to see about USDA home mortgage, and guess who isnt on CAIVRS. I dont know why i'm not...but nonetheless. k.

I gave 3 references myself, but to my knowledge they have never called any of them. I guess if you miss a payment, someone might get a phone call. k.

heyas all. I'm on my 10th payment with Pioneer, in the rehab process. I decided to call them yesterday to find out what the status was with lenders and how much longer they thought it might be. I was told by a supervisor that they have a new lender and they will be picking up their next batch of loans on May 26. So.. if your with Pioneer, it might be worth a call on the 27th to see if you got picked up. I'll update this post if i get picked up. k. of course my 10th payment is due on the 23'rd.. *sigh*

2 small medical bills I owe. No insurance at the time. They are being reported to all 3 CRA's by Valley Credit Services inc. (CA) 1 is 3 yrs old, 1 is 9 months. I am currently following this : First opt out http://whychat.5u.com/OPTOUTINST.HTML Then try to get old addresses deleted ( if possible) THEN send the INITIAL dispute letter to the CRA's where ANY medical accounts are reporting http://whychat.5u.com/hipaadisp.html Is my process correct ?

I received the same letter today. I am in Maryland so its not Canada only. I quote : "IN May 2009, we will be sending you a replacement Best Buy branded credit card that you can begin to use as soon as you receive it. Your account number and all of your existing rates, fees and terms will remain the same, which means that any existing regular or promotional financing balances will be treated the same way they are today." Some notes: You can use it at the store immediately, but will be notified when you can use it online. You can pay your bill online, but not at Best buy stores until notified. You can opt out by calling Chase K.
