Hello, My wife has recently been sent a summons and being sued by what i believe is a third party law firm. I am seeking some assistance with sending an answer and fighting this to the end. I do not wish to do this in public but will gladly publish it afterwards as a learning tool for those in my situation. i have both them and jarods. I have never used jarods, but have used kays in the past. I got a cli on both as well.

I can tell you that i have been both a joint and single person on a loan and paying it off had no effect on my FICO either way. Just so you know, the loan i had on my own was only 9-10 months old when i paid it off, so not a whole lot of age with it.

i did the same thing you did. I canceled it upon reciept. i asked for a cli and they said no. i asked to wiave the AF and they said no. So i said to cancel it. They said OK....... You wont have to pay the annual fee. Also, it never showed up on my reports. Ive closed a few cards upon reciept because of a annual fee......Never had to pay it.

Hi, I applied for both shell and conoco/phillips online. Denied for both. Recieved a preapproval in the mail about 10 days later for both as both are citi. applied for the conoco and got the 30 day. Recieved the card about 12 days later with a 200 limit. I never applied for the shell card...... Weird that they would deny me and approve me 2 weeks later.
