I've just been served by thebank for my forclosure but the paperwork I have that have been given has been filed by the Lawyer for my property and another property belonging to someone else in a different county. The only connection between the two is that the lawyer is the same. The all have the same court case number. I dont see the need to help the bank or their lawyer. Do I need to do anything about the mixed filing or do I leave well alone? Any advice please.

I applied for a loan mod through Ditech as I was 2 months behind (med bills). I got a letter back saying my fixed rate was going up from 580 to 830, i thought to put missed payments in. Then I get a letter saying they are not going to mod and I should sell my house. Can you appeal the decision?

What about the white orphan girl who applied to go to that school and was told black girls only. What about the poor girls of indian origin in south africa, what about the mixed races. No not allowed, only blacks. Everyone deserves the same chances in life. So racial discrimination is ok if it's against white people, that's affirmative action. Racism is racism whatever you want to call it. I wonder what Dr. King would make of this. All he wanted was equal acess for all. I guess he never thought about 'Saint' Oprah.

So it's ok to build a school that has a racist and sexist acceptance policy because Oprah built it. If someone built an excellent private school and gave it an endowment just for poor white boys to go to would you think it so good then. So much for racial and sexual equality.

We live in Florida. Today my 16 year old son recieved a collections letter from NCO on behalf of BMG music service. My son said he never received anything from BMG music but he did visit their website. What is the best way of tackling this? A dv? Thanks

Last Friday I was 30 days late with my HELOC payment. I'd received a letter earlier in the week telling me to make a payment immediately. So when I got paid I phoned the customer service number and spoke to them and asked how much I needed to pay that day to bring it current. They told me and I took cash out of my bank and went to World Savings to pay. I waited in line and when they took my money and typed the info into the system the person said that they couldn't accept it. They took me down the counter to the last position and they had to phone and ask for a code to accept the money. They kept saying to the person on the phone that it was cash I was paying with and it was all of it. This took over five minites of them talking back and forth. They then got the code and took my money and gave me a receipt. What does it mean? Are they planning to forclose? I'm getting worried. About 6 months ago I got late and I got a letter saying that if I didn't pay by the end of the month they'd foreclose but I paid the next day.

Was the company in DC called Bluestone Law? If it was let me know and I'll tell you how I tackled it.

I'd send a letter to the CRA telling them that they have violated the FCRA for verifing a TL when LVNV themselves say they are investigating. Either they are lying to you or they lied to the CRA.
