How do I get a new report in CCT? When I request a new report it wants to charge my credit card $39.95. What gives? Thanks

Thanks, it looks like they only have 3% balance transfer fee (no max) from what I can see. That's too rich for my blood. Any suggestions for a good balance transfer option?

I'm thinking about applying for a new BofA credit card (I already have standard Platinum card) to do a balance transfer. If I apply and get approved, can I transfer credit lines if I don't get a high enough credit line with the new account? I need to do a balance transfer but am worried about nit getting enough to make it worth it. Can you not transfer lines between some accounts? Thanks.

They can't do anything you can't do yourself. All they will do is write simple letters. They can't play hardball with the CRAs. Like Logan said, save your money.

I don't think I would close any cards. The age will help increase your score. I would use all those cards rarely just to keep them active, also it will help with trying to get increases from them. Creditors are more likely to give higher limits when higher limits are already showing on your report (I know it's a catch 22) Good Luck!

Looks like my TC got cancelled this morning. When I sign it, it says "we are unable to access your account." I was expecting it so it does not come as a surprise. My question is, do I have to call and cancel so they stop billing my credit card, or will it automatically stop. Thanks.

I keep getting denied, or not so much denied, but a "call us" letter when I ask for an increase. I've been stuck at $10K for at least a yr now. Although I have no balance and haven't had one in about a year also. Sounds like I need to buy another TV to get an increase.

Yes, NCBK-NCCS is National City. I have checking and savings with them and got $5k initial limit with them 18 months ago. . . as of last week is is now $25K limit with them. The cash back is great, I even use it for buying that newspaper!
