  1. Sorry I may be looking at this wrong but who are you referring too "FYI IT IS FRAUD! AND TELLING EVERY ONEMON AMPUBLIC FORUM IS A BAD IDEA!"? iPad issues.... If I read correctly you said you closed the business (which means you no longer bring in any money or spend any money on the business) and you kept the company active. Are you starting in a new line of work under the company? If not why would you need the company credit still? If you read the fine print it says you can only use the credit for business related reasons and will also say you must inform them if the business shuts down. If you kept using the credit you could potentially be charged with fraud . If you ever defaulted it would be easy for them to get a judgement against you personally. Oh that was not me then I didn't close my business you must be referring to flukcho, the one who started this thread. .

  3. It's a business checking account without chexsystems issues your looking for right? Are you on ChexSystems personally or with previous business accounts? Try Chase, they do not run you (The signer) through ChexSystems, only the business tax id (Verified by two different managers and customer service). And they was right because I'm on Chex with 3 old banks listed from personal checking accounts like 4 years ago but not with my business and I've had an business account with Chase since March and it's still open and I have had no problems. I opened it online but had to sign and fax in some docs and they charge a $15 month service fee for the basic account but it's waived for the first 30 or 60 days, can't remember.
  4. I'm in a different state so here is how I did it but keep in mind that I'm still in business though. When I first registered my corp I used my physical business address, I used that address on all my paperwork, DnB setup and for getting credit with the few creditors I have for about 3 months. Then I decided I wanted to do business in another city here in the same state and have a second location but could not afford to rent another building so I found a company that offered a virtual address with your own dedicated suite number in their building, it's not your typical company that specializes in virtual addresses it is a commercial property services company located inside a SunTrust bank building so when you Google the address the search results doesn't come back as a virtual address (Very Important). So I added that new address to my Articles of Inc with the Secretary of State as the primary mailing address for my company, waited until they updated it on their website then I updated my address with my creditors to reflect the new address as the primary mailing and shipping address. Most creditors have the option to add multiple address in their system for your company like one for the corporate location and one for the corporate mailing/shipping address. Now since my primary address was on a month to month rental with no lease I decided not to use it anymore and work from home to save money so I had all mail from that address forwarded to the new address (Virtual) and everything appears as if I have two different locations and I'm paying less than $40 per month for the virtual address with no contracts or leases. I also have my business license registered with the virtual address, the city/county license department doesn't care if it's a virtual address as long as it's in a commercial building that can receive mail. And now when I apply for new credit I still use my original physical address as the primary address (because that's what is showing on my credit reports) but use the new (Virtual) address as my mailing and shipping address. As far as DnB is concerned leave it alone don't change or add anything because when you apply for and get approved for credit they should report that new address as a second location, in my case they reported my payments to Equifax and Experian with the new address as another location (which is good). Also add your new address to Google Maps. I hope this helps
  5. Are you a CORP or SOLE? If you are a corp I would get a virtual office and add that address to your Articles with your Secretary of State and use that as the mailing address for all your creditors but keep the original address intact that way you show a stable original address since you started the company plus a second location. (Your creditors will think you grown and have two locations) As far as DnB goes, I would not bother contacting them especially giving them your home address. But if you want just leave the original address intact and just add the virtual office address as a second location or something cause I've heard that DnB can do some crazy things to your file when you change address.
  6. I totally agree, keeping personal finances separate from Corporate finances is a MUST!
  7. Sorry for the double post
  8. Yeah, I've noticed that lately, and I don't like anything that deals directly with DnB.
  9. Congrats! I had no luck with reliable, I tried last month and they wanted me to prepay because they claimed they could not find any credit reporting on my company so I tried again yesterday because I know for a fact that credit is showing for my company and they still asked for prepay. I think they were still going by the old pull from last month but either way I'm not worried about getting them any more because there web site is very misleading about their products, for example, I wanted to order a monitor and the description stated the delivery time was 1-3 days but after I added it to the cart and went to checkout it changed to 7-14 days. So out of curiosity I tried other products that showed 1-3 day delivery and every single one of them changed to 7-14 days delivery so I'm gonna pass on them. But congrats though!
  10. I just called them and the rep states that THIS IS NOT A SECURED MASTER CARD which I thought it was, I thought it was a secured master card tied to a secured line of credit. The rep I spoke to (If he knew what he was talking about) said that this is a debit card and it works by drawing money from a money market account every time you use it and is a secured line of credit and does NOT report to any credit agency. He also said that when you open the money market account they check all signers through Chexsystems (Personal and the Business) but they do not check personal or business credit and if you have Chex issues you won't be approved.
  11. Dun and Bradstreet is a big fat joke and you are right, they do not report acurately or not at all. I've ran across only one creditor so far that told me the same thing about DnB an that they do not trust them and will only pull credit from Experian and Equifax, and that was Comdata.
  12. Some lady named Tina Clark from DnB called this morning from (800) 627-3867 ext: 2946 claiming that there has been some alerts on our company, I asked what kind of alerts she refused to talk to me and only wanted to go over the info with my VP because he was the one who registered with Dnb. This sounds like BS and lies, how can we have any alerts when creditors claim they can't find any info on our company? Is this the typical DnB pitch?
  13. Congrats! How old is your business and did you have any trades showing? I've tried to get cellphone service with them and they told me they can't find any info on my company which I don't understand why, buy they approved me but I have to pay a with $125 deposit.
  14. I applied for net terms with Tech Depot the other day and the account rep emailed me back today stating that they will not extend credit because they can't verify my company phone number and they can't find my company in Google maps. Total BS, I have two locations and both are listed in Google maps and have been for a long time and we have multiple local phone numbers for the company and they all are verifiable. If it's not one thing it's another, one creditor can verify our company and approve us for a $1,000 credit limit and the next creditor claims they can't find any info and deny us. Totally Weird! The account rep also stated that the people in the credit department are real JERKS. Has anyone else been able to get approved with Tech Depot?
  15. Verizon Wireless, Chevron (FleetCor) but the crazy thing I have Verizon business phone service and they said my credit is good but they may not do credit bureau checks for regular phone service though.
