So I went with a local place to try for an FHA because my realtor talked me into it ans said they were fast.

Anyway he is telling me that when they run me through DU it is telling them to refer because on my EX report my foreclosure is showing Sept 2009 instead of June 2009. We have already verified the date for the foreclosure is June 2009 from the local court house and EQ and TU show the correct date.

My old mortgage was with Home Loan Services (First Franklin) and they no longer exist. I think BoA bought them out. When we called a few weeks back they said they had no record of the foreclosure date just that they bought the loan and its paid.

Any ideas how to get this resolved quick?

If you have documents showing the date get them to the bureau to update.
Should be something you can do yourself directly
They wont go by what the other bureaus are reporting so you will have to prove it.

The only way I know to do this is to mail them in a copy which is like submitting a dispute and can take 30 days. I am looking for something that is much quicker.

My LO is telling me that he is not sure what to do since it wont get past the DU automated system. Isn't there some manual system we could go by?

Have your LO do it for you and do a rapid rescore. Then he can repull the credit and rerun DU. Your LO should know how to do this.

He mentioned this but I dont think he actually does it. He kept referring to this credit tech person who he is relaying the information to. He asked me to call BoA and get them permission to talk to my credit agencies.

My other question is, if BoA doesn't have any data then will that overwrite the payment history on my credit report?

Ok, so I talked with my LO and he told me they requested a rapid rescore which could take 72 hours.

I just hope the rapid rescore will actually update the account with what we need.

it's a sad day when a human cannot override a computer with independently verified information.
