NFCU Checking and Savings

I'm a newbie here and have been a longtime lurker. I just wanted to post that NFCU is a great bank to work with. They did not pull my chexsystems and ews. They ended up pulling my transunion credit report and was able to approve my accounts. Thanks creditboards for giving me all the useful information here. I can't wait to rebuild my credit report after my bk is discharged.

The only issue is that you have to have a relative in the military to join. My brother is in the Army but deployed so I can get in touch with him. Shucks!

Well, I got his social, DOB, etc. Does he have to be a member of NFCU for me to join? He's active military but not a member of NFCU.

He does Not have to be a member but it is a good idea for him to join to he can call and join while deployed.

I was told by NFCU that my sister who is active duty had to be a member in order for me to re-join NFCU. Initially when I first had an account she didn't have to be a member, gather what you will from that.

Does any know of a bank that just pulls Transunion in Texas. I am trying to get a loan.
