I believe its a soft on experian.

 

 

Bummer, I have 8 inquiries on EX. Do you know what is considered to many for a CC approval? Thanks...

Amex pulls EX.

 

The only time I've heard of them pulling anything else is after they've pull EX and your on the edge of approval so THEN they pull EQ and TU...

 

Also I'm 99% sure that just checks their marketing database and is not actually a soft.
