Cleaning Business Credit Report

Last year was a difficult year for my business. I defaulted on most of my CC and gas cards. Now I am in a position to pay off the cards and re-establish my credit.

 

I am now seeking ideas of how to repair my credit and start over.

 

Can anyone help me.

It can be tough but can be done since for the most part the info comes off the reports alot quicker then normal personal credit reports. You just need to find some new vendors that report to get some accounts in good standing back on there but that will be really tough if you burn't alot of bridges with companies. You will have to use your personal credit to get going again aslong as that is good.

I know it may be a hassel but you can start from the bottom to the top again. From net's to revolving...

Alot of positive credit always outweighs some negative credit. You should find vendors who report high tradelines.

I was able to clean my DNB Credit file up with a simple dispute, was a 46 now back to 80. Does anyone have an idea how to clean up Experian and Equifax? Also how long does negative credit stay on your business profile?

I think this could be a main topic of discussion. After the past year or two, many companies with stellar credit were forced to decide who they had to pay and who they had to not pay in order to survive. Anybody who took specific actions to remove derogatory tradelines/credit cards would provide an invaluable source of information. The more detailed the better.

Im searching but its tough once its there. The best option that I have come up with is this. And it doesn't always work....Call and negotiate a payment plan for less money a month. Tryin get then to clear your history after payment in full. A long shot at best. But if I run across something ill post it..
