So my first loan is with Saxon mortgage I owe about $114,000 on my loan. My second loan is with Litton Loan and I owe $30,000. As of Febuary of this year my house was appraised and is only worth $112,000. At the time that I purchased my home for $142,900 from Fremont Investment and Loans. When I purchased the home my income was based off of two jobs. I lost my part time job this year and my 1st mortgage company (saxon) filled for foreclosing a months ago. Still no word from Litton. Over the weekend I recieved a letter in the mail from Saxon about HAMP. When I called to find out what all i needed to qualify the lady on the other end said she can't tell me because she dont want me to adjust my income to meet the qualifications. Then how do I know if I quailify. Is there a certain amount of money I have to make each month. Does my debt to income ratio has to be more than 31% What if I make to much? I am scared now. What should I do. Who on here has had a modification through Saxon under the Home Affordable Modification Program?
