Hi All,

My dentist charged me and my insurance for the same procedure twice. My Insurance will not get involved but they wouldn't pay the second claim either.

Before being sent to collections, as was being threatened, I paid my outstanding bill, pulled my dental records, and found a new dentist.

After months of correspondence, my former dentist will not reverse the overcharge.

How should I escalate this? I notice that the ADA has a complaint procedure but I worry that they would have a professional bias. Should I pursue an AG complaint or is there a more appropriate governing agency? I'm in Mass if this matters.

Thanks in advance!
