Hi all,

I am new here so be gentle...I am in chex, i went to open checking account and was denied!! To my surprise there was an outstanding debt from wachovia for $434.00... so I called them and they looked up my info by my ssn and the lady could not tell me what this amount was for because she could not go back far enough in the database...so she gave me a number to the collection/recovery dept which I callled and they verified the amount but could not give me any info on what this charge was for...so I said I wanted to take care of this asap and I would call back...I am waiting for my repot still only been two days but how should I proceed with this?
